Hello, my name is Amanda

Although I've always had a passion for the arts, my love of photography really started to flourish back in high school when I was on the yearbook staff for my school. I started as a writer before moving on to designer/photographer and then Editor-In -Chief! During college, I took a variety of photography and journalism/media classes, served on my church's media team, and continued to refine my skills by starting and ramping up my freelance photography. I graduated from Texas A&M University in 2021 with a BS in Agricultural Communications & Journalism and have since graduated with a BS in Respiratory Therapy from Midwestern State University. When I'm not taking pictures, I work as a Neonatal Respiratory Therapist. I also recently got engaged and will be getting married this December! In my free time, I like to crochet, cuddle with my cat, watch tv (currently watching Parks & Rec for the first time!) and hang out with my friends and family.   Over the years, I have enjoyed the opportunity to gain experience in many different types of photography settings and styles. I can't wait to meet you and help create your dream photos!

Natural & Authentic

Photography

My approach & Style

I think that pictures are such a unique way to freeze a moment in time, and my goal is to help capture them as authentically as possible. For most shoots, I employ a natural light style- which essentially means I like to utilize and manipulate the light around me to create your shot. I also try to capture photos that look as genuine, and true-to-you, as they can be. For example, I love to find the natural interactions between couples, and the smiles that are the most natural to each individual. No two people are the same, and nobody wants to be disappointed with the pictures that they receive back.

That being said, I am also open for any specialized requests and creative shoots! I'll also throw in some stylized edits if you're up for that.

Let me know how I can help capture the perfect photos for you:)
